World Famous New River Smallmouth Trips
Come fish the New River Gorge in West Virginia which is considered to be one
of the top four smallmouth fishing rivers on the east coast. There are fifty
plus miles of New River Gorge National River fishing accessible best by
raft. The rafts we use are top of the line, custom made 14 foot Maravia
rafts, equipped with frames and swivel seats. Our boats are roomy and
provide enough space for two fisherman including the guide to fish in
comfort. From spring to fall, the New River is abundant with smallmouth,
Kentucky-spotted bass, rock bass, catfish, crappie and bluegill, with trophy
smallmouth bass being the most plentiful.
A full day trip with us consists of five to fifteen miles of the finest
smallmouth bass fishing West Virginia has to offer. Your trip will last
anywhere from eight to ten hours depending on water level and conditions.
All of our guides are local, well-trained and experienced river and
professional fishing guides. They are there to meet your needs. We have many
packages to choose from including customized overnights and full and half
day adventures.
Fishing the New River Gorge in West Virginia will surely be one of your most
memorable adventures, with the breathtaking, "almost heaven" mountain

Gauley River Wilderness Trip
Smallmouth, Trout, Giant Musky
Come fish the Gauley River! The Gauley is fast becoming as recognized for
its fishing as the New River. However, the Gauley River is under fished
water due to its total inaccessibility except by raft. This makes Gauley
Fishing for the experienced angler only. When fishing the Gauley you will be
fishing for may species of fish including: musky, walleye, small and large
mouth bass, rainbow and golden rainbow trout, brook and brown trout.
Fishing on the Gauley River will be a day to remember. Depending on water
levels trip times will vary. The Gauley River fishing trips are longer due
to its "back country" location and the fact that the river is accessible
only by raft. No matter what your trip time, the scenery is breathtaking,
the fishing is fabulous, and our guides are well trained to maintain your
safety and guarantee the fisherman a good time.

NEW RIVER STRIPERS
Here on the New River in West Virginia we offer half-day hybrid striper bass
fishing. There is a great 4 mile stretch of striper loaded water on the New
River. We spend 4-5 hours in pursuit of the prestein New River striper
concentrating on big upstream eddies where the striper schools move
upstream. We have caught stripers weighting as much as ten pounds. We
recommend live bait and large plugs. You also have ample oppurtunity to land
trophy size New River small mouth while in pursuit of the stripers. We
supply snacks and beverages on all 1/2 day expeditions.
