Trout Fishing in the Mountains

If trout fishing is your thing then you will be happy to know that Free Lance Fishing and Guide Service is proud to offer Back Country Trout Expeditions. Using these services you can fish several miles of excellent trout waters that are regularly stocked with the finest of trout including rainbow, golden rainbow, brook and brown trout.

Stocking begins in January and lasts throughout May, but trout are caught year round due to the high water levels of the small West Virginia streams. These expeditions begin by hiking through woods and wading streams in some of West Virginia's most scenic areas.

If you enjoy native trout, there is fishing available in a few select small streams that are sure to please. Come fish with us and you will be fishing some of West Virginia's best streams and rivers. We provide the best guides and rates available.
